#12 - The Sundays - Blind - 1992

This is the sound of a cool fall day, hiking up to a water tower on a hill surrounded by trees with leaves blazing in orange, red, and yellow to smoke Benson and Hedges cigarettes. This is the sound of wearing shirts with paisely designs and your dads dress shoes while discussing Dead Poet's Society. "Blind" is another album that epitomizes the term "atmospheric" when it comes to alternative music. In heaven the angels will sing like Harriet Wheeler. Her's was the first voice I actually had a crush on.

totally agree
I miss Harriet.
I can't claim to have smoked benson and hedges with my high school buddies since The Sundays didn't hit me until college. It is good to see them in the countdown...by the way, Harriet is in my "naked female singer/guitar player sitting on the end of my bed as I slumber fantasy". Did I go too far?
